 What features do you expect to see/hear in a trailer?

Codes and Conventions of a trailer:

•  Non-diegetic narrator
•  Actors' names, reviews, producer names etc.
•  Non-diegetic soundtrack from the film
•  Shots of main protagonists
•  Sound effects and stings
•  Title of the film 
• Key scenes or key action from the show
• Title graphics 
• Non-linear narrative structure 
• Transitions 
• Creating spectacle and enigma (e.g., SFX)
• Use of close-ups

Codes and conventions i.e., the things we expect to see in a media product. 

Q6, 7, 8 - 12-16 marks its going to talk about one of the three Macro's. 

You will be asked to analyse theoretically how a product of your choice creates meaning:
Macro meanings (Wider contexts -> social/cultural issues):

Micro Meanings (How we understand the genre or the narrative or the representation is how these four have been manipulated, edited or created. We use and manipulate micros to help understand the macros):
